Ask Me Anything: A New Regular Segment
If you are a regular reader of mine, you will know that quite often my article are inspired by questions I receive from other readers just like you. Whether in a comment or in a private email or DM, I get a steady flow of questions from people around the topics that I so often write: sexuality, gender, religion/faith, social justice, community, and more. Of the dozens I receive every week, a few result in the articles you see here.
While I will keep doing this informally as such questions emerge, I thought that I would be more intentional about it. Each week I plan to dedicate one column to address a question from you, the readers. So, using the comment section here, emailing, DM through social media, or carrier pigeon, send me you questions and I will do my best to answer them.
Of course, the phrase “ask me anything” is pretty broad. I reserve the right to not respond to questions that are inappropriate or too personal. I also will only respond to questions where I have enough knowledge and experience to offer something constructive. And I will also respond to only as many questions as I am able. I can’t do them all, at least not quickly.
That being said, you all have been such an important part of my work here, so I am excited to offer you this invitation to more explicitly partner with me. I hope to post the first article in this series next week. So, send me your questions!
