Fair enough. It means a lot of things. More than anything it means not taking the norm for granted. With respect to race, for example, it might mean: Studying the origins of “whiteness” and white supremacy; Centering BIPOC voices (while decentering white ones); Looking for practical reparations; Studying theology from BIPOC perspectives; etc.

In old school Christian language it is about reflection and repentance- turning from the old power systems to embrace the self-emptying humility of putting others before ourselves.
