While I appreciate that your experiences are different, many bisexual men in straight-presenting relationships who do not come out suffer from significant mental health challenges as a result. This is heightened in cases where the men have friends and family who would not be supportive.

In other words, they are only as safe as they are in the closet. It is one thing if coming out would change little in their lives, given general social support, but quite another for those who face significant loss.

The world- and especially America- is still deeply religious, many expression of which are deeply unwelcoming and unaffirming of LGBTQ+ identities and relationships. This is not an anti-religious statement, as I am religious person myself, but the reality is that religious-based harm to LGBTQ+ people represents a significant reason why many bisexual men do not come out.

While I agree that we need to move (slowly) towards a post-label reality, I do not think we will ever be fully free of them, as they help us understand the world around us.
