Two-Spirited is distinct from bisexuality for a number of reason, both relating to the specifics of indigenous cultures and spiritualities, as well as it relates to gender identity. I’m bisexual but cisgender. Two-Spirit folks generally embrace a broader gender identity and/or expression.

I use queer myself but I also affirm the right and need for people to self-determine how they identify.
